Things you should know if you come along for a sail:

  • You are part of the crew and may be put to work (although you are welcome to sit back and relax.)
  • Your cooperation in keeping a clean and safe boat is expected.
  • The best footwear is sneakers or any soft white sole shoes. No high-heels or solid hard sole shoes that might mark up the deck. A shoe that covers the toes is good, when I step on your toes you won't be offended! ;-)
  • It's always colder on the water, you may want to bring an extra sweater or light coat.
  • If in doubt about anything, please ask. Whatever you bring on board will need to be stowed below.
  • Ensign, my cocker spaniel, is a very well behaved boat dog. She's the full-time crew.
  • A SMILE is mandatory!
